KIAWAH ISLAND, SC– Island Sport and Southern Tide are happy to announce the opening of the first Southern Tide signature store. A “soft opening” is planned for Monday, March 2nd, 2015, with a grand opening the weekend of March 27. Located at 475 Freshfields Drive in Freshfields Village, the store will feature men’s, women’s and children’s apparel and accessories from the South’s favorite lifestyle brand, Southern Tide.
Loren Beadle owner of Island Sport, believes that “Southern Tide is one of the top brands created in the last few decades that is stylish, youthful and classic.” Beadle said, “Our guests fell in love with the Southern Tide brand over seven years ago and continue to buy the apparel. We felt it was the right time to open the first signature store and look forward to many more years of success.”
Island Sport opened its doors at Freshfields Village ten years ago with SeaCoast Sports and Outfitters as one of the first retailers in the Village. “We are so happy that Freshfields Village will be home to the first Southern Tide signature store,” said Trish Pruitt, Marketing Manager of Freshfields Village. “Island Sport was one of the first stores here and the partnership they have formed with a nationally known brand like Southern Tide will be a great addition to the Village and the area.”
The grand opening will be Friday, Saturday and Sunday, March 27th to 29th, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m on Sunday). The store will offer special discounts and a gift with purchase.
